JUSTICE SUNIL B. SHUKRE B.Sc. (Hons), LL.M. (Constitutional Law)
Hon'ble Shri Justice Shukre graduated from Pune University in 1980, and did his LL.B. in 1983 from Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Law College, Amravati affiliated to the then Nagpur University. He stood second in Order of Merit at the LL.B. examination, and is recipient of Late Kale Memorial Prize for having secured highest marks in Hindu law at LL.B examination. He commenced his legal practice at Amravati. He did LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the then Nagpur University. He has keen interest in sports and has represented M.J. College, Jalgaon in Inter-collegiate tournaments in Lawn Tennis and Badminton. He joined Judiciary as a Direct District Judge from Bar in the year 2000 and since then has worked as Principal District Judge, Kolhapur, Registrar (Administration), Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court, Joint Director-Maharashtra Judicial Academy, Uttan, Thane, Principal District Judge, Nagpur and took charge as Registrar General, High Court Bombay on 17th March, 2011. Elevated as Judge of the Bombay High Court on 13th May, 2013.
