Born on 13th November, 1965 at Kalyan, District Thane [Maharashtra] in a reputed and renowned family. Studied in V.P. M's Bedekar College of Commerce and Thane Law College, both affiliated to Mumbai University, and took B. Com. and LL. B. Degrees in 1986 and 1989 respectively.

Enrolled as an Advocate on 4th August, 1989. Prior to joining the Judiciary, practised as an Advocate at Kalyan, Thane, Ulhasnagar, Murbad and Shahapur Talukas of Thane District, District Courts, Thane and Kalyan, and the Bombay High Court, for eighteen years. Handled Civil, Criminal, Matrimonial, Revenue, Co-operative and Consumer cases and conducted Sessions trials. These included Externment matters, Chapter Cases, Appeals under Essential Commodities Act, Appeals under Arms Act before different Police Authorities, Cheques Bouncing Cases and Bank matters. Represented Petroleum Dealer in Arbitration Proceedings of Oil Companies. Appointed as a Special Public Prosecutor by Govt. of Maharashtra in a Bank Fraud case by its employees. Was also a Standing Counsel for civil litigations of National Insurance Company, Maharashtra State Finance Corporation, and for criminal matters of Maharashtra State Electricity Board. Held the briefs for the Co-operative Scheduled Banks, namely the Kalyan Janata Sahakari Bank and Dombivali Nagari Sahakari Bank.

Topped the Merit List of the 2007 Batch as a direct District Judge. Joined the Judiciary on 23rd October, 2007 as a District & Assistant Sessions Judge. Worked as a District Judge, Additional Sessions Judge and Family Court Judge at Nagpur. Transferred and posted as a City Civil Judge, Mumbai. Appointed there as a Special Judge to decide the cases under MCOC Act, POTA Act and NSA Act. Worked as a Registrar, Finance & Budget at Bombay High Court. Transfered to Raigad and worked as a Principal District & Sessions Judge at Alibag from 31st October, 2013 till 28th February, 2016. From 1st March, 2016 to 9th July, 2017, worked as a Chief Judge, Small Causes Court. Lastly, before elevation, posted as a Principal District Judge, Pune, and worked as such from 11th July, 2017 till 10th October, 2018.

Was a Member, Treasurer & President of Educational Institution, Balak Mandir, Sanstha, Kalyan, Member of Educational Institution, Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, Kalyan, Member of Managing Committee of Local Finance Patpedhi, Trustee of a temple and other Trusts, and Secretary of Kalyan Advocates Bar Association.
